Yes, that's true. Interestingly, it's almost as though anything goes, but when it comes to spells, it seems very personal and the main purpose is to reveal truths of ourselves. For example, if I wanted to banish someone from my life forever, it really would mean just something negative about them, but not harming them in some way. After every spell, one should say ''and may no harm be done.''
Idk, it's kinda cool. Paganism and all that.
There is layers, some people believe in harmful magic, and that you have to master both. Dark and light are just tools. And this is all layered, there is not one opinion, on anything in Wicca, it is practically open ended.
I know I was interested for a while, but there is something sinister in the scent of it, isn't there? At least I always felt like that even as a Deist.

OFC, a person can also believe in no gods and still practice.
I know a person who doesn't believe in a Creator believes in the gods he believes in, and that gods are just a different type of beings in a different plane of existence, and that he doesn't follow them nor do they dictate anything to him, rather, they just interact.
