Strawman, as drivers and cars are shown to exist apart from each other. Just as one may be described as a carpenter even when not in the act of crafting something out of wood, one may be described as a driver even when there isn't a car in sight. No one has ever observed a mind without a brain.
Opsh.......Brian.
There is a big big problem with your point.
A driver or carpenter are still such even when not in the act of driving or crafting however nothing happen happen unless they drive or engage in crafting.
There has got to be a connection and an engagement if we want something to happen.
In humans and in all form of lives this engagement between mind and body start at birth.
A driver can well still be a driver even without driving but if he doesn't drive nothing happen.
A brain to work need a mind and a mind need a brain as far as the brain is alive.
Once the brain die there is no reason why the mind should also die.
Would you die when your car die?
Quote:The likelihood of the mind surviving the destruction of the brain is exactly equal to 70mph surviving the wreck of the car.
Boru
That is a load of garbage man.
Have you ever seen a dead mind around?
How can you destroy an abstract entity that you can not touch, smell, see, taste or hear?
Get real Brian an let your fantasies to little kids to indulge in daydreams.
