Yes they are, and the point is that asshole bigots cannot claim an entire nationality are violent. When they have a problem with me, they politely come up to me and express their concern with my loudness, or upkeep. 100% of the time I apologize and try not to do it again. I have however ran into far more self entitled people born here, that when you tell them they are being disruptive, they say "FUCK YOU'.
They are from south of the boarder, and just like my first job which was run by a migrant Pakistani couple back in the late 80s, when I worked at a 7-11, they tolerated me as managers, and I was a spazz.
I wish people didn't have to bring up nationality, but fear mongering hyper nationalists do, so yea, I will bring up my neighbors and how well they have treated me.
It is ALWAYS worth it to defend non violent people, no matter where they come from. Logic is another thing, but as far as law, it is always better to protect non violent individuals than to politically sell fear.
