I don't care if she is a lawyer, I may hate GOP politics. But Comey and Rosenstien and Mueller and Dan Coats have all demonstrated their willingness to stand up to the president, their oath is to the nation and the office, not the man.
If he's a lawyer, how has he not learned about diplomatic immunity? Or the functional equivalent that automatically applies to heads of state, sometimes well after they've been out of office (which is why Bush and his cronies are still free men)? [Note: there is actual controversy about whether or not former heads of state should still be granted immunity after their work for the state have ceased. Just because it's unfair doesn't mean the controversy still does not exist. Why, yes, that does suck.]
It was a she, but yea, it is really stupid for her to claim that. And it still would not change the fact Russia would want to retaliate and in turn our right wing morons would want to retaliate to their retaliation. POOF the end of humanity.
