Convenient, that, is it not? Confronted with someone who has read your bible, you run and hide behind baseless accusations. I even offered you to point out where the babble states that jebus was two when the magi showed up. You couldn't do it. I offered you the chance to point out where the babble stated that the magi set out two years early and you couldn't do it. I offered you the chance to point out where on earth this two year distant journey happened and you couldn't do it. I even suggested where you were going next, to Mat 2:16 and that really annoyed you because you know full well where that leads.

Clearly Herod didn't just randomly pick two years old, he determined the age from the Magi's own testimony.

Furthermore do you think the Magi immediately hopped on a camel and trekked off through the desert once they saw the star without provisioning for the journey?

What you are engaged in is called 'speculation' and can readily be dismissed as such. Perhaps Herod simply wanted a fudge factor. As it turns out, the magi weren't playing straight with Herod, so perhaps a bit of caution was warranted. Regardless, what the magi actually told him and why he felt it was necessary to give the order he did is simply unrecorded. Your speculation in the matter is worth dick.
