According to the constitution, only Congress has the power to bring charges (impeach) a sitting President. The House charges and the Senate convicts.
Unless we get a huge turnover in Congress in November (crossing fingers), an impeachment just won't happen.
Meuller can bring information to Congress, but doens't have the power to charge the President. If Congress chooses to ignore that information (which the Republicans will), there is no other way to have a legal case.
Now, under the 25th amendment, the Vice President and the staff can declare the President unfit for office and the VP takes over. If the President challenges this, it ultimately goes to Congress.
Thank you for the explanation. So it's either the "impeachment by Congress" or "the expiring of his presidential term". That is terrible because the Congress has more Republicans than Democrats in 2016, I assume they increased now.
I can see why you voted no; a yes would be a wish.

No matter what he does or how much he fucks over this country, no harm will ever come to him. He believes he's invincible and has manipulated his base into thinking the same.
I was surprised by the number of Republicans sitting in Congress in 2016, I'm sure that America's foreign policy and everything about it would be different if it was the other way around.

America needs a cultural coup if you ask me. Honesty, vigilance, truthfulness and caring for the rights of others -inside and outside your home- are the barriers that prevent "Trumps" from appearing.

Before the end of his current term/middle of second term if he got re-elected

That also leaves plenty of time for Trump's lapdogs to do away with the 22nd Amendment which limits US presidents to 2 terms.

That's a nightmare scenario. The limiting of the president to a small number of terms is what keeps the government young , in the Middle East dictators rule until they die, you can see the result in places like Syria. You live and die, your children, your grandchildren, all wake up to the same disgusting picture of the same man. That's a nightmare, that scenario is the end of America.
