We didn't need the same job market we did today to see a significant rise in income. Workers are making as much now as they were in the 1970s despite the increased costs of literally everything else

Your evidence that things are improving for the average worker is just relative to recent years. A good thing! But not enough. We have a problem, it's time to address it.

Yes, and I've suggested that limiting immigration would help address it, as immigration shifts wealth from poor citizens to wealthy citizens.

What else do you suggest besides those two things?
