Listening and asking questions, rather than jumping to conclusions, and refusing to re-evaluate your assumptions, may be  a good way to start.

Nope there is no need because we already have the answer .No conclusions have been jumped to they are totally supported by facts . Nope no assumptions supported conclusions . Your side simply does not the conclusion and is desprate to bury it because as it undermines the Christian rights agenda .

I mean..there are plenty of Christians that are in full support of gay marriage and all other rights for LGBT folks, so yes, assuming a Christian is anti-gay is jumping to conclusions.
