There are Christians on this very forum who have said they support gay marriage, but then they turn right around and defend the Christians who don't.
I feel like explaining to them that is not what the word "support" means.
It happens...a lot.
If you don't mind the idea of gay marriage, or you support it, and you a Christian, then you need to speak up against the bigotry of your fellow Christians. It does happen. I think Jimmy Carter is a recent example of a high profile person telling Christians to start acting more Christ like and accept gay marriage. But he's far outweighed by the high profile bigots. And it's all the little people that really matter.
So Christians who support gay marriage: Stand up and fight for love and acceptance and kindness, like Jesus would! Don't defend another Christian just because they claim the same faith as you! Your personal support is worse than meaningless if you defend the bigotry of others.
