Does you father agree with the psychopath's actions and the psychopath's claim his religion allowed/encouraged him to burn another human being? If so, then your father is yet another nutter and you would have established a connection, instead of authoring a non-sequitur.
Chimp's point (he'll correct me if I'm wrong) is that he has had 40 years' experience with one of the more primitive forms of Christianity and even Pentecostals don't advocate setting people on fire, which makes the actions of the psychopath referred to non-Christian in the extreme.
Seems that it isn't so much a non sequitur (there's no hyphen in it, by the way) on chimp's part as it is a problem with reading comprehension on yours. It's pretty clear what chimp was driving at.
