Will Evangelical Chrisitanity implode?

Thus we have evangelical Christians turning on, and denouncing, an actual evangelical Christian in favor of a man who does appear to embrace a single tenet of Christianity.

Not too surprising; back when the Relgious Right first emerged, we had an Evangelical (genuine Southern Baptist) in the White House. And how did they feel about him? They pushed him out and swooned over whoever virtue signalled to them the way they wanted to be virtue signalled to. Hell, the only other President since then who could accurately be described as an Evangelical, well, we all know how the religious right felt about Bill Clinton.
