It seems that the democrats have been saying "delay...delay...delay" ever since the start of this. I don't think that helps matters. Their answer is always delay. The childish protests during the proceedings, with at least one protestor being shown to have received money just prior, doesn't help either. There isn't really much to go on to investigate with this (unless more is spontaneously manufactured after 35 years) . The second accusation is even worse, with several liberal leaning news organizations passing it up for a week. The accuser reports being quite drunk, and was calling around for a week, to try to verify if it was even judge Kavenaugh. They are doing an investigation, the problem is the only evidence is one persons word over another. With other alleged witnesses on record as not recalling any such event.

Yes, guild does need to be demonstrated.
What I mean is that if they cared about finding the truth, they would allow time to look into it, because if guilt could not be demonstrated, it would help clear his good name.
So again, you still haven't explained, why the rush? Don't they also want to take the time to find the truth?
Twisting my words, btw, I wasn't going to say "so his guilt" can be demonstrated. I'm talking about what his supporters want out of this. Do they want the truth, or do they just want him voted in, already? It seems to be the latter
This isn't a court of law....yet. He wants to regain public trust and show these accusations are false. The women want the opposite. The public should want the truth, whatever that turns out to be.
They are being investigated, by the senate committee. I don't know why people keep saying that it is not being investigated or acting like this is just being pushed aside. And I wasn't twisting your words, you had said that his innocence be demonstrated, where it is guilt that needs to be demonstrated. This seemed to be presuming guilt until proven innocent.
Or we could just throw him in the river. If he sinks and drowns, he is innocent; if the judge floats he's guilty, then we burn him at the stake.
