The man took a life. He shot somebody in the face and somehow you believe he does not deserve to die?

Except that the evidence offered for conviction has:
a) been recanted by several witnesses or found to have been inconsistent
b) been tainted by alleged witness coercion by the police.

But hey, he "shot" and "killed" a cop. No room for cross examination here, your honor. Just fry 'im. After all, we can't have cop killers ever get loose (never mind all the "regular" killers that are released).

I despise special protections for certain groups, especially when there is a long standing history of corruption and hiring from the shallow end of the gene pool.

Allege witness coercion and the killer is redeemed?
A witness or two are inconsistant or recant so to hell with the rest of any witnesses testimony?

I agree about special protections for the certain group of people known as murderers. Yes, fry them. The man face-shooted someone he should be 'put down' like the uncontrolled animal that he is.

I used to tell a lot of religious jokes. Not any more, I'm a registered sects offender.
