I leave it in the hands of the Staff unless I hear from him. Throw him a life preserver. That ship is sinking.
We got him, don't worry.

On this point, people should be aware that we use various spam detection methods on this forum. There are always some false positives, but it's either that or we go back to the days when staff would have to manually delete/ban countless spambots.
Currently, on registration, we check your username, email, and IP address against Stop Forum Spam's database. If any of those are flagged above a specific certainty level, we block the registration, and you would see a notice about being detected as a spammer. There is a contact link at the bottom of every page, which you can use to send us an "I'm human!" email.
Additionally, if you have less than 100 posts, we scan every post you make with Akismet. If it thinks you are spamming, it will hide your post. It won't, however, give you any indication that it has done this. So, if you create a thread or make a post and it doesn't appear, you're probably caught in the spam filter. Just contact staff via the "Questions For Staff" forum (https://atheistforums.org/forum-80.html) and we'll sort you out and whitelist you so your posts don't get scanned.
