Ignoring the utter stupidity of "keeping the universe alive and well"... you are supporting punishing somebody for something they have no knowledge of and no control over.

That is not at all what I said. I'd prefer no crime go unpunished but what I would like to be true and what is true are two different things. That is, I have noticed, often a big difference between skeptics and believers. I accept reality as I find it and don't pretend it is how I wish it were.

Misusing science doesn't add support for your position.
Quote:I am sure that one day when atheists and other people who do not believe in karma will get rid of their dogmas and mental garbage will agree with me.
There is only one person here that is wallowing in dogma and mental garbage and it isn't the atheists.
Let's try a different tack.... you believe that the consciousness survives the death of the body. I see no reason to believe that. Realizing that I base my beliefs ONLY on what can be shown to be demonstrably true, what evidence can you show me to change my mind?
Before you try:
- dreams, feelings, and wishful thinking have no value
- anecdotes (like NDEs) that can't be independently verified have no value
- speculation about what MIGHT be true his valid only if you have a way to falsify it
