What is God?
It/He/She is that which the path is heading to but can never fully reach yet is the basis and source of it's value,
What is the Path?
It's the course we must all take and is a arrow/pointer to the ultimate being and manifestation of virtues in their perfect balance.
Where is the course located?
It's light God has vested in a human and brought out to the world in scripture and legacy of knowledge explaining the scripture, that human is our leader.
How can we know that human?
Through miracles/proof or a scripture that is in a form of a miracle/proof.
How can we recognize a miracle to be a miracle?
Through reasoning and honesty to oneself.
What if one has read all scriptures but is not impressed?
That is fine, good effort and good on you to read them, but the problem maybe something else, perhaps there is something sinister trying to blind you to the amazing nature of scriptures and prevent you from linking verses to each other and seeing the flow of scripture.
How to come to scripture?
Just keep trying, come with effort, don't give up, keep reflecting, and balance your criticism with arguing for it as well, and see where that balanced view leads.
Who is God?
He is the Lord of the Prophets and Angels, the one they point to in truth and which you aren't to mix the opposite path with his path, lest you equate good and evil, and value both uncleanness and the blessed light at an equal level.
