Plodding through. I've been having rebound headaches the past few days. That happens when you use pain relievers too often. Rebound headaches differ from normal headaches in that, a) they happen to people with a pre-existing headache condition, b) happen as a result of using pain killers too frequently, and c) tend to return after the last dose of pain killer wears off. It's that last part I'm struggling with now. I woke up with a headache and took the caffeine / acetaminophen / aspirin combo I usually do, but that has since worn off and my headache is returning. Apparently that combo is worse for causing rebound headaches than plain tylenol. Yay. The most effective answer to rebound headaches is simply to stop using pain killers in spite of having headaches. Yay again. So that, or maybe switching to using ibuprofen sparingly appears to be my future.
