The following Irish inscription can be found on comedian Spike Milligan’s headstone:
”Duirt me leat go raibh me breoite” Translated to English : “I told you I was ill” He’s buried in the UK, and his epitaph was not allowed to be inscribed in English by the Chichester Diocese. They did however, approve the inscription in Gaelic.
