I don't know that there's much you can do about this convoy other than process those who attempt to enter legally and continue to try to intercept those who aim to evade border enforcement. You can send the military, but they are limited by law to playing a supporting role only; they can't intercept illegal entrants themselves. So that's helpful, but not much. Fortunately for Republicans in the south, many of whom are facing Democratic candidates who are further left on the Democratic spectrum than those in the north, this caravan is a gift to their hopes of election. Trump and Republicans are using the truth about immigration, along with a healthy dose of lies, to stir up their base about it, and it likely will give them the boost they need to weather the November midterms. It's sad, but there's really nothing the Dems can do about it.
