This cuts to global greed. Unfortunately when you say this, these same assholes do not understand that pace of consumption and increasing pollution, may be good for short term global corporate profits, but it comes at the cost of ruining the planet, causing more unrest.
It isn't enough now simply to gain share holders and profits. The world needs to plan better and make business about solutions, not consumption.
