President Obama was called the deportation president by Latinos for the reasons you've stated - high numbers of court-ordered deportations. But I rarely, if ever, heard his administration brag openly about deporting people.

Which makes the current administration's posturing and scare-mongering all the more baffling.

Actually I take that back. When you have a white supremacist, Confederate president, it does make sense.
