I mean, the evidence really isn't very solid as to what happened to her. It doesn't do too much good to speculate a lot. But I small scale cover ups and framings do happen. Way more than people realize

True but in no way was this "small scale".

I don't know much about it, and unlike Rob I'm unlikely to devote very much emotional energy to it.

In general I've found the more people that need to be involved in a conspiracy, the less likely it is. If it's the case of parents and maybe a couple other people hiding a death, that's fairly possible. Once it involves massive cover ups that would need to involve dozens of people. Well I don't think it's possible even. Someone always blabs.

For example people like you point to Gulf of Tonkin as an example for why 9/11 could be a conspiracy by the government. Actually it proves exactly the opposite. Tonkin Bay was a fake attack, the conspiracy involved a very small amount of people, all that was involved was faking of some documents and we all knew pretty quickly that it had been faked. Within a year.

So that really goes to show that people cannot keep secrets.
