Many of God's actions in the old testament were questionable, however Jesus nullified the old testament - Christians are not Jews.

Must God(s) be omnibenevolent? What if they are indifferent to human suffering, or malicious? They are still God(s).

Why would you worship a god indifferent to humans? Because they are powerful? That's a reason for fear, not for worship.
If I die and god is real, im so screwed.
