Actually hell is known since the time of Christianity: "Lake of fire" verse; and so many ancient civilizations knew the concept and believed in it.

These atheists will be acquainted with it a lot more than we can ever imagine. Having to scream in agony for eternity stuffed in an oven with all that dense smoke...damn!

Very nice flaming move. If you want to begin bragging about "how safe you are from being roasted in judgement day as a Muslim; I can bring you tens of verses from the book you see holy that assure you that all of humanity will pass through hell".

Not just that, you and me can be candidates of burning in hell along with the wretched. Because me and you, my Muslim friend are not assured to be among the holy; nobody is. Even prophets. So isn't it a little bit ignorant and self-righteous xenophoebic arrogant speech that you just poured right there? so wretched and sad can be your fate, me too, I thought that what the Quran teach all along.

You are human. You can be among the burnt within hell, anybody can and everybody is a candidate.

As for a "punishment that befits the crime"; go ask the British military why it used to execute soldiers accused of grand treason, or ask the terrorist Islamists how bombing a market with children fits the punishment of invasion, or ask the U.S how bombing Iraq fits the crime.
