Best Compliments

I've heard all sorts of compliments for my physical appearance, but I am never really impressed with those. My favorite compliments are based upon my inner qualities.

I agree. It's of course nice to get the occasional: "You look pretty/beatiful", but my favorite compliment ever was from my smartest friend, who said that I would pass Mensa's test. That really stroked my ego!

Heh, I spent 23 years of my life being told I was a clever girl, but felt ugly and awkward. It'll take more than the past 3 years to make "aren't you lovely!" lose its novelty.

The best are the kind that not only make you feel beautiful, but desired, and not only desired, but cherished.

They usually range from "I think that was the best sex I've ever had..." to "ouch!".

That, and I think this one ranks quite highly.

The ones that come out of mouths who rarely speak them always sound the sweetest.
