The most universal is chromecast. Theres nothing that any of the others can do that chromecast can't.....but you should just buy a TV with native dual channel and menu options.
Chromecast isn't bad at all. My Sony has it built in. I still like the Nvidia Shield better though just because it has more function outside of just running Android apps, such as playing games from Steam and directly from Nvidia. But if you just want to watch movies and stuff like that, just find an Android box with about 3 GB of RAM and Kodi, and you should be good to watch just about anything for free.
