Even the premium movie channels were mostly repeats. Shudder became my favorite channel, but only when Boss Lady was around. We love to mock those movies.
I had the same problem with both cable and SlingTV, and now, Playstation VUE. The problem is more that no matter how many channels you have, the bulk of it will be utter shit. Who keeps these companies afloat if nobody is watching this shit? Apparently people are watching utter shit, or they're paying for shit that they're not actually watching. Regardless, the flaw lies not in the technology or the cost of delivery, but rather a general problem with television shows and movies in general. I know there are devoted fans of Honey Boo Boo and that guy on Ancient Aliens, as well as regular viewers of "So you think you can dance?" I just don't happen to number myself among them. That's not cable television's fault.
