When I play music at a wedding, getting a testimonial from the couple afterwards can be very touching. It's good to know you've helped make the most important day of somebody's life a little better.
On a more personal note, I don't know if I can think of any particular examples. Certainly none as poetic as summer's. I'll keep thinking. I'm sure I've had plenty of fairly superficial ones that wouldn't particularly stand out in a thread like this.
