You're making an assumption. I never said I didn't have any proof.  But then again, I never asserted that I had any.  No reason to jump the gun here.

I made the assumption because I asked for evidence and you didn't give any.
You said something that tried to deflect the request, so assuming you had no evidence was the obvious choice.
