It certainly has none. In truth, there are only very very few countries where abortion is completely abolished.
It could easily have philosophical basis, more than a religious one. There is no holy book on earth that specifically mentions abortion, so any forms of religious objections actually constitute philosophical arguments.
Nothing more.
Similarly, people who are for abortion, also base this on a philosophical argument, one that of choice, and not of maternal life, or any other physical reasons to have an abortion.

Like in my country. Any party that has gone too far, has been closed by the supreme court. This generally goes against the notion of freedom of speech in your country. In my country, legal action is actually taken to preserve secularism.
