My gran is an ignorant racist... Even if she is my gran and I do love her I can still call it as I see it... She is a Catholic creationist, need I say much more?

It isn't disrespectful to call someone what they really are. I respect only those who have earned it. I will not respect someone because of the risk of upsetting others.

I caused a bit of an uproar at a bus stop last week when I told an old man off for a racist comment after an Asian gentleman had passed, he then told me to mind my own business and respect my elders... I won't respect someone due to their age, that is absurd. Respect is earned by actions.

Whatever, homosexuality is natural, yet can we say that it's really normal?

Normal is a rather subjective thing in topics like this. I find it perfectly normal to be gay, but others do not.
