IF OLB wants to argue it is not someone's fault their car got stolen, he is correct.
It is also not my fault if someone breaks into my house and steals my TV. But it is also possible to have solid doors, dead bolts and alarm systems too. And even with my house, it still has regulations as to wiring, distance between beams, as well as my TV cant be made out of napalm.
My house also cannot be so big it blocks the road I live on. In fact, when they put the new one in I live in now, they had to put it in a specific spot as per the "perking" in relationship to the new septic tank I bought. Even with a house, I can't simply build a mansion where I live, and it certainly cannot be made of flammable materials, or intrude on my neighbors property.
Regulations exist for a reason, and no product should be immune from public scrutiny.
