"Are you responsible" was the title of the thread.
The problem with that premise is assumes "responsibility" is always on the buyer's/user's end. I don't agree with that one bit.
I do not find it ok to take advantage of others, or sell a product, ANY PRODUCT just because you can.
"Magic" wasn't and still isn't always sold as an act. And even with the NFL, both teams players and fans, go in watching knowing it is about misdirection. The WWE which was once called the WWF however, sold itself as a real sport for a long time. It never was a sport. It was always a rigged act. Just like stage magic is. An illusion, an act.
So again, if one wants to argue theft of property is the fault of the thief, you wont get any argument from me.
But if you are setting up the same argument that Adam and Eve are to blame for the product you made they had no say in setting up, sorry, that is a form of misdirection.
