Theists usually say that it's a being that created and maintains the whole universe, but it varies a lot depending on which one you ask.
That's the rub, all conceptions of God that can be tested via empiricism have been abandoned due to obvious failure, only the unfalsifiable versions are left.

The challenge is both inappropriate and malformed. The existence of atheism and theism are not in question, which is why the question is malformed. Presumably you are challenging me to prove that no conceivable God could possibly exist, which is inappropriate, since I never asserted that there is no God. I asserted that there are no conceptions of God left (still believed in and proposed) that can be empirically tested. If you know of a version of God that is currently held by believers that can be empirically tested, I would dearly love to be educated about it.
