I think whether the impact is ultimately good, bad, effectively the same, or decidedly worse for this country remains to be seen.
Trump is staying in power due to his catering to those nutjobs, and especially, his appointment of far-right federal judges.
As a non American, watching the elected Republicans' behaviour since Prez Trump was elected has been been very interesting.My perception is that those bottom feeders have shown their priorities very clearly; getting re elected and keeping their perceived personal power. I've long believed this to be true. However, I have never before seen a more blatant example in a democratic country, at federal level.***
I will be very surprised if Prez Trump is ever impeached. In fact I honestly believe that enough American voters are stupid enough that he will be reelect him. I hope I'm wrong, truly I do.
