It makes a huge difference ones a weapon specifically designed ONLY to kill people the other is a tool designed for multiple use the fact some misuses a knife is not the same as some using a weapon for what it was designed to do KILL PEOPLE !

2. Knives serve another purpose . Hell even combat knives are multi purpose , And no the fact you use a weapon SPECEFICALLY DESIGNED to kill people for purpose that's not killing means nothing .
Why you think that' s some sort of law of physics is beyond me.
WTF difference does it make what something is designed for? When some person wields it as a weapon - if IS a weapon.
The average Joe can kill more people with a big 4 wd truck - than they could with an AK47.
Look at the numbers killed. Bombs, planes and vehicles score higher than guns.
2.Good luck getting that truck up a flight of stairs or gunning down 40 people from the 30th story of a building or sneaking it into a building with a truck or whipping it out and on the fly killing someone with it . Sorry pal a truck doesn't have the versatility a gun does so this attempt flops .
3. Sigh
A, A plane hijacking requires either a ton of planning or piloting skills things a gun has no equivalent of and theirs a difference between hijacking a plane and using a gun you own .
B, A bomb is just as dangerous to builder and the results of makeshift devices are unstable and they require more patience then your standard Sandy Hook nutcase has or your average rage killer nobody going to carry a bomb around under their clothes and whip it out to kill someone , And it's already illegal to own a makeshift bomb .
C,And see above for mass murder with a vehicle
There is no weapon on your list that comparable to a gun . It's simply not enough to measure death counts.
