Firearms to me are no different than nukes. Just because we make them and because we cant get rid of them does not mean they should be in the hands of anyone that wants them. We cant get rid of all firearms anymore than we can get rid of nukes, but we damn sure should try as a species to reduce the amount we make and foster the idea that using them should not be a default position.
