So the self righteous douche bags in the uk have found the old gun's don't kill people, people kill people to be true obviously. Why? because they have taken the guns away ad now the self righteously smug, still can not stand each other so rather than shot they are stabbing each other to the point legislation is being put fourth to restrict the use and who can carry one... 

again knife gun pushed out of a window it all the same it is not the tool that is the problem, people are. It is clear that pop morality can not keep the population in check lke most of you 'good people' thinks it can. therefore you all foolishly think if you remove the tools people can't can not build or wreck what they set out to do? Shame on you for being that naive.

bad people will always exist despite how enlightened you feel you are because you in your mind don't need God. great. now what of the monsters in society who do need God to keep them in check? do you think banning knives will help you? what's next sticks? hammers screw drivers? will you have all windows nail shut above the second floor as well if people start pushing other out of windows?

As a resident of the uk I see the problem with knife crime as fundamentally different to gun crime, knives are useful for other things than killing such as getting into amazon parcels and cutting up food amongst other  things.
And yet we still have stringent sentences for people carrying knives and the sale of knives is strictly controlled which is mainly quite effective.

Guns on the other hand are pure killing machines and even the most prolific knifer has to get quite close to carry out their foul deed whereas, a gun arsehole can do it from a distance.
So even at its worst knife crime is less harmful than gun attacks and is harder to stop because knives be useful.

I think what Drich is doing here is trying to compare a recent problem in the uk, that is recognised as a problem, with people searching for practical solutions to a long term situation in the US which is far worse that people aren't combatting at all.


Look at how NZ treated its mass shooting for an effective way to deal with guns.

I have killed one deer in my life and it was with a knife.

My dad shot it in a lot ajecent to ours and it dropped to the ground he jumped the fence and dragged it to the edge where I grabbed it's antlers and began to pull it though then it woke up. my dad shot out the front shoulders while his front legs did not work his rears did as well as his neck and horns. I got 2/3 of him though the fence, and he took me down and we wrestled around on the ground till i had him on top with my legs wrapped around his lower half and one arm around his neck pinning it to the side. then my dad came in trying to help me the best he could but nmore or less let me have it. So i took my knife and wildly stabbed him till he stopped moving. blood everywhere.. I was 14 or 15 at the time.

I say that to say I have discharged tens of thousands of rounds and shells and never killed anything bigger than a game bird.

Gun are not for just killing is my point. As I have safly operated one and own dozens all my life. Guns are a measure of self defense that if people know you are carrying a situation will never even esecilate into a conflict if rarely a raised voice. The one time I fired a guy and he knew I did not have a gun on me I took two blows to the mouth before I could grab him and transfer his severance packge over to him via my steel toed work boots. (I got pics of his back where the cop he call on me took pics if you want to see) with a gun again never once has a raised voice. sure they where mad some got out of the office and had a fit, but to me in front of me never.

So again if you primary understanding of a gun is to kill then you have drank the coolaide my friend without a second thought.

What it is is guns scare most of you and do not like the idea of others not being intimidated by one which ultimately means those not scared of guns have potential control over you despite how much fighting experience or training you have. I could be 500 lbs and you could be a MMA champion, and if I had a gun even at 500 lbs you are subject to my will.

That is what you guys do not like.

Hate to tell you sport but now than men have even been further pussified the utility of a knife will be replaced with speciality tools and the knife will be a tool of only killing just as you see the gun now!

1.Knives aren't as effective as a gun for mass killing if they were armies would use them as a primary weapon 

2. Knives serve another purpose . Hell even combat knives are multi purpose , And no the fact you use a weapon SPECEFICALLY DESIGNED to kill people for purpose that's not killing means nothing .

Mass murderers do not need guns, hell 5 well placed 5 gallon gas cans with a cell phone a hand full of relays and a good battery will the job of any gun and can potentially bring a whole building down as well.

Again the problem is not the tool but the evil men who wield those tools. Know if not a gun a knife if not a knife a club or stone. Or truck or plane or even a boat. evil men will always find a way to carry out their evil intent!
