Heterosexuality is statistically the dominant pattern of behaviour, so the hormones that lead to heterosexual behaviour do not necessarily tell you that much about homosexuality.
There are all sorts of 'programs' to 'cure' homosexuality, but, they are mostly based on junk science: not least the one that led Alan Turing to commit suicide after he was chemically castrated in 1952 to 'cure' his homosexuality.
There have never been any reputable and repeatable studies which have demonstrated significant physiological differences between heterosexual humans and homosexual humans, hormonal or otherwise. No structural brain differences, nothing that can be called a mutation or an aberration: the 'cause' is not obvious, if indeed there is a cause.
