Years and years ago, I was gifted a single volume edition of LOTR. Beautiful book, but to big to be easily readable. I still have it, but haven't opened it up in forever (I'm afraid it'll fall to pieces). I also still have my Ballentine paperbacks, the ones with JRR's cover paintings.
