Didn't say that violence was the appropriate response. I'm telling you that Just Some Bully was a victimizer as well as a victim in this scenario.
A woman's not victimizing anyone by simply putting on a skirt before she goes out. It is NOT a hostile action.
If you think that disturbing the peace and and unleashing a tirade of verbal abuse is "no big deal" when engaging with total strangers, then I strongly disagree with you. If a drunk motherfucking stranger gets in my face and starts screaming profanities at me and calling me a N**GER, odds are I'm going to feel threatened. Responding to it with violence would be among my last resorts, but simply ignoring it would it NOT be a wise response as far as I'm concerned. I'd be in no position to know what this random, raging, intoxicated stranger is capable of.
