I worked in a shop where we did injection molding stuff- and general machining. One of our regular customers was a company that made pet food. We did EDM work on the extrusion plates for forming dog food. They had various shapes - as it turns out based on the owners expectation - not the pet'.

I pointed it out to the customer if they really wanted to make dog food a dog would like - it should look and taste like a turd.

Or a postman.
