Suppressing white supremacy was more a social effect than a legal one. Here, at least. Given that it's pariah status is so thorough that the white supremacists, themselves, have spent the majority of their efforts distancing themselves from white sumpremacy (lol?)..I'd say it worked well for what it was, while it worked.
Obviously it didn't fare well when white supremacy successfully rebranded itself as free speech.
