It's stated clearly that rituals are used as therapeutic expression of emotions and nothing more. Not sure what you're talking about. I've never heard of Rupert Sheldrake and don't remember him being mentioned in any interviews or at all in The Satanic Scriptures. Also, there is no CoS forum. That is not something that exists. Please cite specific interviews or pages where Sheldrake is mentioned and I'd be happy to address it.
edit: There is also nothing on the CoS website about Rupert Sheldrake or anyone even close to that name. Starting to suspect you're just rambling nonsensical shit at this point.
second edit: Okay, so I found ONE mention of Rupert Sheldrake on the CoS website.
Quote:Rupert Sheldrake, a biologist, has spent many years exploring the “extended mind” and has solid statistical evidence that there indeed does exist a mechanism in nature that could be used for such ends. His many books are fascinating and worth investigating.
We emphasize that the philosophy of the Church of Satan does not require that our members believe that ritual is more than an emotional experience, nor is there a mandate even to ritualize at all. We simply offer it as a tool for experimentation. Some folks have found results that they feel are beyond coincidence or statistical parameters. Others simply enjoy the release of emotions otherwise hindering their pursuit of personal happiness.
There is no judgment placed on members of the Church of Satan regarding their personal understanding of how ritual functions. One is not more or less of a Satanist based upon his or her evaluation of Greater Magic. See the essay, “On the Role of Ritual in the Life of a Satanist” by our High Priestess, Magistra Peggy Nadramia, for more information.
However, notice the bit where it says

The fact that some CoS members believe in some psuedoscientific bullshit espoused by some idiot who wrote a couple books means nothing about the organization as a whole. I've never heard of this dude and after a 5 minute google search I can't say I'm interested in hearing anything he has to say. I don't remember him ever being mentioned in The Satanic Scriptures. But to be honest I haven't read the book in years and can't say I call myself a Satanist. Even still, Satanism is an atheistic philosophy that embraces science and scientific evidence. That SOME misguided idiots who call themselves Satanists believe in some woo and magic doesn't really give you credence to say the entire organization supports psuedoscience and occultism. That's a bit disingenuous, to say the least.
If you're frightened of dying, and you're holding on, you'll see devils tearing your life away. But if you've made your peace, then the devils are really angels, freeing you from the Earth.
