I think EgoDeath has defined Satanism to mean the type that doesn't include the supernatural. In this he is apparently following a particular set of current Church of Satan members.
So for him, those Satanists who are atheists are True Satanists and those people who believe in anything non-scientifically-approved are not True Satanists, by definition.
And if anybody disagrees, that person will be called a fucking moron.
It reminds me of people in some small subset of Christianity, who define every other Christian in history as being not a True Christian. It's actually interesting to see this same dynamic play out among atheists.
And the funny thing is the LaVeyan satanists I keep quoting are the most highest ranking and most famous members! They are the ones who believe in the supernatural stuff the most including the founder himself! I am not new at this I have been following and studying Laveyan satanism for 24 years I have stacks of magazines and books put out by them I know what they believe and practice. I care about the facts.
