It's sad that in the 21st century this should still be a concern.
At home, Oz, there is still an undercurrent of racism among some of the white Australian community.
The last time I was home I heard at least a few people complain about the "bloody abbos".
It's certainly less than when I was growing up, but it's still there. Not sure if it's diminished or just gone underground.
