A bittersweet part of this trip is that Debra(Bob's sister) gave me Bob's ashes to bring home with me. For those who don't know I met Bob along with Hillbilly Atheist in the early 2000s on the same website within months of each other. The three of us were best friends, and also did an internet radio show together for a couple of years. Bob was my best friend. So much so he called me on Skype on an almost daily basis, up until his stroke 2 years ago. I got to met him in person while he was in a nursing home last year a couple of months before he passed away. My late mother loved him like a son because he made me happy and that made her happy. Now my late mother's ashes will be sitting next to his ashes. My biggest regret is that Bob and John and my mother never got to meet in person. I paid for John's (Hillbilly Atheist) airline ticket so that he could at least see in person where our late friend Bob lived.
