Not all criminals deserve, are interested in, or would even benefit from, rehabilitation.

Pedophiles are one of few groups of humans I have absolutely no regard for. This isn't even a conversation. They should get executed publicly, as far as I'm concerned.

And this doesn't solve the problem for the victims. Ask yourself what would you do to minimize the number of victims, not how would you punish the purpatrators, the latter is easy.

Even those who have those desires and badly want to not feel them and go out of their way to avoid offending? I'm not saying I think the Jared Fogels of the world are likely to benefit, but there's still a tantalysing chance we might be able to find the next Jared and fix him before he can offend.

This makes me thing of an episode in the good doctor. It was about a pedophile that came in to the hospital to get help( be castrated) and the doctor refused soo he killed himself in the end.
