When religion is put first, the real spirit dies-that of inquiry and adventure, the part that wants to understand the world.
I think religion found a biological niche, we all yearn for answers and to understand the world around us, religion took that curiosity away from us giving us all the answers, and in turn filled that natural curiosity. So people stop thinking, and questioning. All the answers are right there in this book.
It was created for that purpose.
