What we call self defense in the US - they call vigilantism in the UK. I like not going to jail for protecting myself.

Why do you feel so scared in the US? Being scared seems to be your countries defining feature and motivation.

Persecution complex is very strong here, I think. You see it with the religious, you see it with some progressive "SJWs" as they're called, and you see it with gun owners.

This obsession with defending one's self is largely irrational, and at this point it's fairly antiquated idea. Mostly because the amount of places in the US that you are legitimately unsafe without a firearm is... low. The amount of places in the US that you are legitimately unsafe without an assault rifle is... zero. And yet...
